Listing is completely free. No monthly fees, no setup costs, no subscription tiers. On a $1,000 booked night, your cost is $50 — and only after the show plays off. Your $800 nightly rate is collected directly from the artist on your own terms. Then the deposit lands in your account too, making you whole with nothing but income. GigNVenue handles the $50 from the deposit automatically — you never write a check. 5% for a booked night and an artist on your stage. No upfront cost for venues, ever.
Every request that comes in is a lead — a real artist actively looking for a venue like yours. Reviewing and responding to each one promptly is the best way to fill your calendar and build your reputation on the platform. Approve the right fits, decline the ones that aren't — but either way, a timely response works in your favor.
Once you approve a booking, the artist is presented with a payment portal to secure the date. They pay a deposit equal to 20% of your nightly rate, which is collected and held securely by GigNVenue. Within 24 hours of the event playing off, that deposit is released to you in full. The remaining 80% of your nightly rate is collected via the terms set forth in your own artist onboarding and contractual process — handled directly between you and the artist.
Yes. One host account can manage multiple venue listings, each with its own profile, calendar, pricing, and booking history. Your host dashboard shows all venues in a single view so you can manage them efficiently.
We understand that unexpected situations happen. The cancellation terms you established during venue setup are what govern any host-initiated cancellation — and they'll be honored accordingly, as they reflect the same terms communicated to and agreed upon by the artist at the time of booking, remaining unaltered through any further onboarding. We ask that hosts give as much notice as possible and make every effort to avoid cancelling confirmed events — reliability is the foundation of trust on our platform.
Beyond waiting for requests to come in, you can proactively promote open dates using Featured Night. Click any available future date in your Availability Calendar and select "Feature this night." You can set an optional special rate and add a short note to artists — up to 100 characters. Once posted, we notify artists who have favorited your venue and those whose genre matches your space. Your featured night runs for up to 14 days, until it's booked or you remove it. No dark nights.
